Necesito que me recuerden cómo se hace para que Word no se lleve la mitad de una palabra al otro renglón. (EE. UU.) Lee el espacio y se lleva la mitad abajo.
Creo que ya pregunté esto alguna vez y es probable que lo vuelva a preguntar.

If so, go to Tools - Language - Hyphenation and make sure the box that reads "Automatic Hyphenation" is not ticked.

Hmm... it has to do with hyphenation, yes, but I remember there is a way of instructing Word not to cut a word.
It's just that I cannot remember how.
Try going to the same menu box and clicking on Manual...
That ought to do the trick!

¡Eso mismito, Fer! En ese caso, para evitar que de desunan los estados. 
La palabra era EE. UU. y por el espacio que está en el medio, Word se llevaba la mitad para abajo.

Pues, escribes EE. luego con las teclas Ctrl y Shift (la que está encima de Ctrl) le das al espacio, luego sueltas las teclas y sigues normal. Si tienes el simbolito de párrafo (ese que parece una P al revés) activado, este espacio entre EE. y UU. aparecerá con un signo "°", algo así EE.°UU. (que solo será visible como marca de formato y por supuesto no será imprimido).
