Lea Collins interprets for the wife of a client that Collins represents. (Amanda Stratford, FLORIDA TODAY).
Florida, USA (Today): Lea Collins is a courthouse regular, frequently seen power-walking between courtrooms, a briefcase in her left hand, a beeper clipped at her waist. Collins is not an attorney. But as an interpreter for the Brevard County courts, officials say, her role is just as vital. "Every person who comes to the courthouse has a constitutional right to know what's happening in their case," said Collins, an interpreter for five years.
